I engaged Inspired Spaces to create a vibrant, comfortable and inspiring work environment for our team – and I don’t have the skills to do that! By engaging an interior designer who could also manage the project I was saving time and gaining new ideas.

My brief was to create a bright and airy space that reflects Australia and the Australian way of life. I asked to include a meeting room, CEO office and breakout area. The new office also needed to accommodate future growth of the company and an informal meeting space.

It’s a 100% improvement for staff. More room. Positive environment, room to congregate for lunch. Improved relationships. Everyone has their own personal space.

My clients think it is fabulous, colourful, the image in the meeting room is inspiring, the reception area is inviting and bright.

The best thing is the space for each person to work without being cramped, the colours feel positive, various options to meet with clients / staff, whiteboard is a focus for all staff. The office reflects our brand image – professional but approachable.

Rejuvenated my office into a fresh and functional work environment

After a number of years of dilatoriness, I decided to renovate my barrister’s chambers. I had some basic ideas on how to improve the functionality of the space but no idea on how to turn those ideas into reality.

Robyn took those ideas and built on them to devise an innovative refurbishment plan, using a modern, fresh colour scheme. She then project managed the refurbishment by locating some excellent tradesmen, and supervising their work.

You worked your creative genius

Initially I was little unsure of using an Interior Designer. To be honest, my first reaction was additional cost to the already stretched budget, secondly, losing control of the project and thirdly, decorating our own home shouldn’t be too hard, I should be able to do it myself.

However, I had enough “disasters” this is probably too strong a word, maybe decorating faux pas or errors of judgment is better terminology but anyway the final result of my previous attempts at decorating just didn’t look right.

Anyone using Inspired Spaces will be inspired and enthused.

In our first telephone contact you made me feel comfortable and from then on, everything just ‘gelled’.
You listened to what we wanted, asked about our family requirements and our stage of life and our budget. You utilized existing items in our house as they ‘looked right’ and other items that had sentimental value so you used them in your overall decorating plan. You worked your creative genius and our new interior is definitely “US” – and most importantly you made us feel like part of the decision making process. You made it all come together so much so, that what started with ‘one room’ developed into the ‘whole house’ – inside and out!

Very helpful, professional and prompt

We were introduced to Robyn from Inspired Spaces by our Painter. The reason was we had an idea on what colour finishes we wanted in our home however we need some professional advice in finalising the colour choices. Robyn did not push her ideas onto us, she took what we believed we wanted and our ideas and expanded them. At the end of the day we were delighted with the colour choices and the feature walls in the main bedroom and the lounge room Robyn also assisted us with the choice of carpets and a new lounge suite. We found Robyn very helpful and professional and she was prompt in providing the advice we needed. We were further delighted that Robyn chose our home to be included on her website.
